The indicator will turn blue when the message is signed

The indicator will be orange when Chat Preview is enabled and a preview is waiting to be signed

The background of the chat preview may also appear slightly faded if a preview is awaiting to be signed

The Social Interactions screen now shows entries for players who have seen recent messages at the top.

Messages that are not signed with the Secure Chat system, or have been tampered with by the server will now be marked

Messages with missing or invalid signatures are marked as "Not Secure"

Modified messages are marked "Modified"

An icon and a colored indicator are used to indicate the trust status of messages.

The colored indicator is always visible

The icon can only be seen if the chat screen remains open

Hovering over the icon will provide more information about the trust status

Modified messages will display the original secure text in the tooltip.

System messages (nonplayer chat, such command output) are displayed in gray with a color indicator

To confirm that you have sent a message, hit the Enter/Return again

The "ON" setting was renamed to "While Typing".

If the server has modified the message, the chat preview won't display in "While Typing" mode.

Previewed hover events, click events, and other events are highlighted with a solid backdrop

Reporting abusive messages in game chat chat is now possible. A reporter is required to select the individual chat messages that contain the objectionable content, as well as the category of the report, this is to provide the best context for our moderation team to take action. This information is accessible via the social interactions screen.

Multiple chat messages can be selected for reporting

Additional chat messages about this selection will also be used by our moderation team to provide further context

You can choose which report category you want from the list of Report Categories

The Report Categories screen contains a "Learn about Reporting" button. This button links to a help article.

Additional comments are possible to provide further details and information about the report
